SAP’s general manager for HANA Cloud sales, Vince Randall, has left the company to join software vendor Adaptive Insights as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Randall leaves SAP after just over one year in the role and the company, leading the team handling sales of its S/4 HANA Cloud enterprise cloud ERP offering.
“Vince’s experience in helping organisations transform business in the cloud and his understanding of the local markets is a huge asset,” Adaptive Insights chief revenue officer Fred Gewant said.
“We continue to see strong demand from companies of all sizes in ANZ ready to embrace the cloud for their planning processes.”
Prior to joining SAP, Randall worked in various executive and top sales roles with Epicor Software and NetSuite as well as in technical and operations roles with IBM.
He is expected to expand Adaptive Insights’ presence in ANZ, which currently includes 13 partners in the region and data centres in Sydney and Melbourne.
US-based Adaptive Insights provides cloud-based business planning and financial modelling tools. The vendor filed for an initial public offering in 17 May, seeking to raise US$115 million.
Cloud-based platform provider Workday acquired Adaptive Insights for US$1.5 billion earlier this month.
