SAP has announced that all of its certification exams offered through the SAP Global Certification program will be available as an online service.
The exams will be available through SAP Learning Hub, where users will be able to access videos, webinars, tutorials and other resources focused on the cloud software updates associated with quarterly product release cycles.
As part of the shift, SAP has also added “stay current” programs for cloud solutions like its S/4HANA Cloud.
“Roughly 87 percent of the world’s leading companies use SAP solutions in some capacity,” SAP Intelligent Enterprise Group executive vice president Bernd Welz said.
“As these customers move to the cloud, they will need to adapt to its fast-paced nature and the frequent updates that come with it. As such, certification cannot be a ‘one-and-done’.”
Welz added that by providing improved access to the exams ensure that partners, customers and professionals can “easily and consistently stay current” on skills related to SAP software.
The full rollout of the all the cloud-based certification exams is expected to take place in June 2019.
