Samsung Electronics Australia has appointed Michael Cefai as sales manager, southern region for its enterprise business.
Cefai has more than 25 years experience in the ICT industry, including prior roles as Samsung's vertical lead for government focusing on the southern region. He was also southern regional manager for Dataflex and general manager of government and education sales for Acer Computers Australia.
He will be based in Sydney and his responsibilities will cover sales in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
"Michael's promotion to this new role is testament of his expertise and leadership in driving Samsung's enterprise sales growth," said Craig Gledhill, Samsung's vice president of enterprise and small and midsize business for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
"His strong experience in public sector and enterprise will be valuable in helping us expand our presence working closely with our strong partner ecosystem."
