The appearance of a mysterious device codenamed GT-N7100 on a benchmarking website has sparked reports the second-gen Galaxy Note is on its way.
The original Galaxy Note, launched last year, came with the codename N7000.
The next-gen smartphone/ tablet hybrid appears to include a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor with Mali-400 graphics, as seen in the Galaxy S III. It has been rumoured to carry a 5.5in screen.
The Galaxy Note II is expected for release in August. Samsung has announced a US event on August 15.
