Network performance vendor Riverbed Technology has launched three new professional service offerings, while assuring that it would not step on partner's toes.
The new professional services announced this week were a business KPI service, SteelHead optimisation assurance, and application analytics and diagnostics service.
"The services industry is shifting its focus from the delivery of IT outcomes to the delivery of business outcomes that result from IT services," said Riverbed vice president of professional services Joel Hofman.
The vendor's ANZ regional vice president Ian Raper said that the company is "focused on working together with our partners to build out their own professional services model around our technology".
"The IP developed for these new services will be also used to enable partners who wish to develop their own value-added consulting services based on our technologies."
In March, Riverbed Australia appointed former Females in IT & Telecommunications chair Terrie Anderson as its ANZ regional sales director. At the end of last year, private equity firms Thoma Bravo and Teachers' Private Capital forked out US$3.6 billion to acquire the vendor.
