Cloud software solutions consultancy Digital Reign has acquired Brisbane-based tax forms and real estate software developer ADL Software to bolster its property services business.
The deal will also expand Digital Reign to Brisbane and Perth and bring in five of ADL software’s staff, including founder Alan Liddle.
Sydney-based Digital Reign develops software and digital solutions for the property industry, with an Azure-based software as a service offering called Automated Invoice Management. It also has offices in Melbourne and Canberra.
“People are very sensitive about the information that they share, and we wanted a secure product like ADL that is legally compliant for a real estate agent, a strata manager and a commercial agent to use in their transactions,” Digital Reign co-founder Brian Pereira told CRN.
He added that the deal gives Digital Reign significant market share in digital forms in real estate, and could pave the way for further acquisitions for its property services business.
Founded in 2001, ADL Software provides electronic legal contracts and forms to the real estate industry in Australia through its ADLForms solution and the ADLInspect add-on.
“ADL Software was a nice and very organic acquisition for us,” Pereira said.
“It gives us a foothold into the residential real estate space when it comes to digitising data.”
