IT services provider AfterDark Technology has acquired security provider Wilkinson-Kent Consulting (WK Consulting) for an undisclosed amount.
The deal brings in 50 of WK Consulting’s customers and improves on AfterDark’s IT security, business automation and cloud migration businesses.
The company will also be relocating to AfterDark’s head office in Bowen Hills, Brisbane.
“The addition of WK Consulting supports our desire to increase our market share through a combination of acquisition and organic growth,” AfterDark director Stephen Gibson said.
“Strengthening our core services ensures our customers benefit from our growing pool of talent and expertise to help maximise the potential in their own business.”
AfterDark specialises in IT management, application development, communications and data protection services to various industries in Australia and New Zealand.
AfterDark did not reveal how many new staff was added after the acquisition, but previously had 25 supporting some 3500 devices across more than 150 clients.
