Qirx delivers cloud toolkit

Australian company Qirx has spent the past year developing a new product, Qirx in a Box, after winning the VMware rising star award and VMware Partner Exchange last year.

They have productised their consultancy and services offerings into a toolkit to assist companies in transforming their infrastructure from an ongoing cost model to a flexible private based cloud system.

Qirx in a Box delivers its services through six key areas – virtualisation, availability and protection, performance, security, end user computing, and management and automation.

For each of these, Qirx in a Box works through a methodology that starts at defining the issues faced by the client, identifying what is needed to address those issues, implementing solutions and providing ongoing education to the client so that they become more knowledgeable about their infrastructure so that they can make wise ongoing decisions.

The team at Qirk recognises that there are many different pathways to your private cloud destination. Rather than prescribing a specific solution, their methodology offers flexibility.

Qirx was incorporated in the ACT in 2000.They have partnership arrangements with VMware, NetApp, Extreme Networks, Nutanix, Brocade, Actifio, IBM, Trend Micro, F5, Riverbed.
