Pure Storage has named former director Citrix Dino Soepono as the new director of channels and alliances for Asia-Pacific and Japan.
Soepono replaces for director Ben Goodman, who left Pure Storage and returned to EMC in July.
Soepono started his career in tech as an analyst programmer for Alliance Computers in 1991. In 1993, he joined Logicalis Australia as a director of technical services. He then worked for Network Associates for seven years from 1997, followed by ChannelWorx from 2004. In 2007, he joined Citrix has director of networking sales.
Another new addition to the team is Jim Butler, who was appointed the channel manager for the northern region. Butler joined this month from Metronode where he was a senior consultant for more than a year. He previously worked for F5 Networks as the territory account manager and NetApp as an account manager.
Aram Farzad was also appointed as the distribution leader for Asia-Pacifc and Japan.
Farzad joined Pure Storage after six years at Dell where he was most recently the ANZ distribution manager. He had previously worked for Ingram Micro for more than 10 years.
