PrintFleet picks up industry award

The title recognises companies that provide a combination of software, training, services, or hardware for MPS engagements.

The finals were held last week at the MPS Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

"We are thrilled to be the recipient of the MPS Infrastructure Provider Award," said Graham Harman, CEO PrintFleet APAC (pictured).

"This award is a clear indication of PrintFleet's winning formula of offering a complete solution combining a superior product, support and ongoing training services.

"The other important point is that two other awards were handed out to PrintFleet customers and partners: Supplies Network and LaserNetworks. To see our partners and customers succeed in this realm is tremendous.

"The entire PrintFleet team should be proud of what they have accomplished," added Harman.

The competition was open to all organisations, with winners selected by an independent panel representing a broad spectrum across the industry.

Award criteria is based on a 50-point rating of MPS best practices and business benefits such as defined objectives, significant cost savings, productivity gains, or other improvements.

PrintFleet this week announced enhancements to its managed print service software application programs including the release of Enterprise 2.1.

It includes advanced meter and supply integration into the Digital Gateway e-automate system enabling a matchup between a dealership's PrintFleet system and their e-automate billing system.

"We are extremely pleased with the recent advancements with integration between the PrintFleet system and Digital Gateway's e-automate system," said Harman.

"We have many shared dealers and both PrintFleet and Digital Gateway are committed to digging deeper into our collective systems to leverage further seamless integration."

Other enhancements within PrintFleet Enterprise 2.1 include fleet wide supplies inventory management including order fulfilment into ERP systems, and additional data metrics including new reports detailing energy consumption and cost calculations.

"This new capability is particularly important as it can show clients the amount of energy wasted by keeping older, inefficient devices on their network. This in turn makes it easier to work out the cost savings provided by newer more advanced printers," added Harman.
