Identity management vendor Ping Identity has promoted APAC channel chief Ashley Diffey as its new country manager for Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Diffey replaces APAC regional director Geoffrey Andrews, who left the company in April.
Based in Melbourne, Diffey is tasked with leading the local team, boosting sales and bolstering local customer support & services. He will also remain in charge of Ping Identity’s ANZ channel as the company looks for his replacement.
In a statement issued yesterday, Ping Identity global chief operating officer Kris Nagel said, “Ashley Diffey combines his strong security and channel business background with a proven track record in driving enterprise-grade solutions to the industry.”
“We’re thrilled to have him in this role and look forward to the positive impact that he will have on the business—especially as we continue to protect critical identity information across today’s organisations.”
Diffey first joined Ping in October 2018 as APAC channel and alliances manager. Prior to that, he worked in various channel roles at F5 Networks and Commvault, as well as other leadership roles at Venn IT Solutions, Westcon and Telstra.
“Ping Identity is recognised for its ability to provide comprehensive and innovative identity and access solutions, offering an opportunity for the region’s enterprises to integrate security as part of their overall risk management programs,” Diffey said.
“I look forward to working more closely with organisations across Australia and New Zealand in this new role, helping them choose the right security measures to protect their businesses and demonstrate sound governance.”
Ping Identity provides identity management and security solutions, whose customers include Bank of New Zealand, Mortgage Choice and Griffith University. Australian partners include Versent, Baidam Solutions, Fronde, Unify Solutions and Dimension Data.
