The company flew in clients from across Australia to attend the event at the Southern Golf Club in Melbourne.
Speaking about Hafey as the star attraction, Jasmine Harrison, Advantech’s marketing manager said: “The real treat was to be able to handball and socialise with the football star.
“He had boundless energy and youth, I can’t believe he treats himself to sit-ups for his birthday,” she added.
According to Harrison, the day was a great success, with many clients commenting on how nice it was to see the face, behind the telephone.
The footy trivia and a handball competition kept guests busy, but, the focus of the day was to talk business and exchange information about industry, projects and the economy in general.
“It is fair to say everyone enjoyed the day and took away some valuable points on living life and making the work environment more productive for everyone,” said Harrison.
Advantech provides industrial computing solutions to SMBs. It offers products and solutions in three business categories: Embedded ePlatform, eServices and Applied Computing, and Industrial Automation groups.
