Jamie Brown, PGP Corporation’s regional manager for Asia-Pacific, said signing the new channel partners —TLC Data Security, Kaon Technologies and Sense of Security based in Melbourne, Auckland and Sydney, respectively — is timely given the Australian government’s decision to introduce mandatory data protection laws in 2008.
“Our channel partners are able to provide this guidance because they are fully knowledgeable about PGP enterprise data encryption solutions. All PGP Gold and PGP Silver Partners undergo a rigorous selection process and are certified in both pre- and post-sales of PGP products. This way, we can ensure we are adding value for both the channel partner and the customer,” Brown said.
He said PGP Corporation already has key customers in financial services and public sector organisations.
“Establishing a new channel partnerships to complement the company’s distribution partner, inTechnology Distribution, is an important step in cementing PGP Corporation’s position as an enterprise data protection vendor in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Brown.
