Perth software house Servtech wins eSports contract with Emerge Gaming

Software-as-a-service provider Servtech has landed a support contract with ASX-listed eSports company Emerge Gaming Solutions.

Servtech’s software development division and wholly-owned subsidiary Technobrave will assist Emerge with the customisation of its eSports platform Arcade X.

Emerge is customising the Arcade X platform so it can integrate international telcos, with the Servtech contract involving the platform's launch for South Africa-based telco MTN Group.

"We are pleased to secure this long-term agreement with Emerge Gaming following the successful two-month trial to assist with their MTN customisation,” Servtech general manager Simon Ingleson said.

“The team exceeded all expectations and key deliverables and I am confident this contract will showcase the talent, capabilities and professionalism of the ServTech development team and assist in securing similar large-scale development projects contracts both locally and internationally, in the months ahead.”

The contract began on 1 May with a $500,000 commitment over a two-year ad-hoc trial, and is Servtech’s largest software development contract to date.

Aside from custom software development, Servtech specialises in outsourced office SaaS solutions that aim to reduce the cost and administrative burdens of running a business.
