PayPal is looking to further its reach into online payments through a new relationship with Paycorp.
Paycorp provides PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliant services to over 50000 businesses in Australia.
This relationship now makes it possible for Paycorp clients to use PayPal in PCI DSS-compliant transactions. For example, PayPal payments will be integrated into some of Paycorp’s existing payment solutions including RentPay – the system used by many real estate agents to process rent payments.
John Caliguri, Chairman of Paycorp’s group of companies said, “Given PayPal’s extensive global network, this partnership allows Paycorp to be a competitive payment solutions provider in the Asia Pacific region. Consumers are increasingly embracing alternative payments and offering PayPal to our consumers makes sense as more consumers continue to shop online.”
Paycorp's service portfolio is extensive and includes providing credit card, BPAY and phone-based payment systems that can be used by a wide range of businesses.
By adding PayPal to the existing range of payment types such as credit and debit cards, businesses can offer greater flexibility to customers.
