The Viera full HD 1080p PZ850 series features four models: 46in TH-46PZ850, 50in TH-50PZ850, 58in TH-58PZ850 and 65in TH-65PZ850.
Panasonic claimed that IP-enabled televisions provide access to online content directly by using the company's Viera Cast technology.
Other features include a Pro Setting menu, allowing consumers to access professional calibration software, and a dynamic ratio of 1,000,000:1.
The models include digital cinema colour remastering, 24p native reproduction, an SD memory card slot, four HDMI connections, 100,000 hours to half brightness and a PC input.
Panasonic has also added a Game Mode which minimises the time lag when displaying game images on the plasma screen.
The mode synchronises the response of the game image to the player's operation, producing an extremely clear image with no motion artefacts.
"Panasonic's flagship Viera line features a Pro Setting Mode that provides the consumer with access to calibration software. This is another example of Panasonic's philosophy of ideas for life from life," said Dennis Eppel, vice president of Panasonic Display Products.
