Pacific Internet has announced availability of its fixed line voice service, Pacific Voice, to channel partners.
The service was launched 1 March as a partnership between Pacific Internet and Southern Cross Telco.
Grant Lamont, product marketing manager at Pacific Internet, said that the company had been refining the service since its launch. It has also been running training for channel partners over the last two weeks.
Pacific Internet has more than 400 channel partners which generated 30 percent of the company's new revenue, Lamont said.
The company took a phased release approach for its voice offering, beginning with the launch of Pacific Voice to existing SMB and residential customers in March.
Lamont said competitive call rates, particularly calls to other countries in Asia Pacific, helped differentiate the service.
The company aimed to make the service more attractive by offering bundle deals that gave customers discounts when combining DSL and voice services, Lamont said.
