Orange squeezes more juice from sales

Orange Business Services has beefed up its sales team to pursue local and international integrated business communications deals.

The services business appointed Elie Ishkan as global account director, based in Melbourne.

Ishkan served three years in a similar role for BT Global Services and was with Singtel Optus for more than 12 years where he was strategic account director.

And Chris Pappas joined as business sales executive.

He will lead "key customer accounts and drive new business development in the New South Wales region", Orange said in a statement.

Pappas will be based in Sydney and was previously with consultancy the Frame Group. He spent eight years as a senior business development manager for Macquarie Telecom.
