India-headquartered Oracle platinum partner Evosys has started operations in Australia with Nova Entertainment as its first customer.
Nova needed an effective HR information system that provided a full view its the data in order to help the broadcaster to make strategic decisions.
Nova opted for Oracle HCM Cloud to modernise its HR practice.
Nova head of HR Alana Howe said: "We want to establish an HR function primarily focused on strategic business partnering to further propel Nova Entertainment’s success. To do this we need a solid foundation with the highest levels of efficiency, automation and strong line manager engagement."
Howe said Oracle HCM Cloud would enhance productivity across the business, delivering insights that will inform strategic workforce planning and support employee and business growth.
Oracle HCM Cloud provides in-depth analytics and an intuitive platform that is accessible via mobile platforms.
"Their [Evosys] extensive experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud provides us with confidence that we can deliver the best solution and we are excited to be their first Australian partner," Howe said.
The solution is expected to go live in the third quarter of 2017.
Evosys is present in 18 countries in across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. Seeking further growth, the company has begun operations in Australia and New Zealand from a base office in Sydney.
The company has been operating in Australia since November 2016 and has two staff running the business.
Regional manager Neil O'Malley told CRN that while most of Evosys' workforce is based in India, the company deploys one or two of its Oracle consultants to be on-site for the delivery of a project before they return to the country at the end of the implementation.
Evosys is a platinum Oracle partner.
Evosys has a dedicated Oracle Centre of Excellence with 850 Oracle consultants. The company is capable of executing 280 projects simultaneously.
