Optus and SingTel have signed a $530m contract with ANZ bank for the delivery of telecommunication and managed services.
The trio signed a similar $500 million agreement in 2009. Optus' media representative Joshua Drayton told CRN this contract renewal was "an evolution of the service", including "an increase in managed services."
Under the agreement Optus will leverage SingTel's national and international networks to deliver unified communication and managed services solutions. These include:
- Domestic and International Data Network Services
- Managed Contact Centre
- Managed Services.
- Managed Global WAN/LAN
- Managed Voice/IP Telephony
- Managed Mobility
- Managed Collaboration, Video, TP
Chief executive of the SingTel group Chua Sock Koong said the contract affirmed Optus' position as a leader in IT solutions.
"SingTel and Optus Business are at the forefront of driving market leading enterprise services. This agreement again shows SingTel as a leading ICT service provider in the region."
The new contract between Optus, SingTel and ANZ runs for a further five years.
