Brisbane IT provider Insync Technology has scored a massive coup with former Microsoft Australia exec Rowland Harvey as its new general manager for NSW.
Harvey was previously Microsoft program manager for Australia, where he led the migration of over 5.8 million mailboxes from the vendor's Live@Edu education platform to Office 365.
He said: "It’s great to be joining such a vibrant and agile company. Insync has had significant growth in Queensland and Victoria, and it’s time we turned to the largest market: New South Wales.
"I’ve worked with Insync Technology on a wide range of opportunities and their can-do approach and expertise made me confident I was joining the right team."
Insync general manager Nathan Belling said: "We have just finished building out our teams in Queensland and Victoria, and naturally it was time to move into New South Wales.
"We wanted to make sure we got the right person for the job and the appointment of Rowland to this position will support our existing customer base and drive new opportunity for us with a close partnership with Microsoft. Microsoft has been key to our success over the last 12 months, and we will redouble our efforts to make sure this is the case again.”
