Oakton VP returns from India to run new services unit
Dennis Papakyriakopoulos

Oakton has promoted Dennis Papakyriakopoulos as executive general manager of a new division focused on supporting integration projects.

He has been charged with "driving efficiency and effectiveness in the company's supply chain" in the new group services division for the Australian technology and business consultation company.

According to Oakton "His team will provide support for service integration projects delivered using cloud based infrastructure and software partners. The group service function will also provide support for the ongoing development of Oakton’s 'solutions as a service' model".

Papakyriakopoulos has over 25 years of IT experience and previously held the position of vice president for Oakton India.

The company intends for the group to complement its existing service footprint with an increased focus on managed services, service integration and non-person associated revenue.

Oakton's CEO and managing director, Neil Wilson, expressed confidence towards the move saying: "The new Group Services function has been created due to Oakton recognising that the market in which we operate has evolved and is changing constantly."

"I am very pleased that Dennis has agreed to take on the role as he is one of our most experienced and successful executives.”

Oakton has recently gone from strength to strength with the company securing not only a $4 million deal with the Federal Office of Fair Work Ombudsman but also a $4.8 million contract with the Australian Attorney-General's Department.
