NTT Data and Amazon Web Services have formed a strategic collaboration on a range of cloud and artificial intelligence services.
The companies outlined a number of areas of focus for the agreement, including using AI and data to improve managed services and client experience, including a recent agreement to modernise contact centre solutions on Amazon Connect with AI-driven customer experience.
The migration and modernisation of on-premise workloads onto AWS, using automation tools and data platforms to provide intelligent operations, as well as the development of industry-specific cloud solutions with a focus on financial services, healthcare and life sciences, public sector, and manufacturing and automotive, is also included.
NTT DATA has formed a dedicated AWS Business Group, with close to 11,000 AWS-certified experts, and aims to almost double that over the next three years.
NTT Data chief executive Abhijit Dubey said cloud the agreement will help clients scale AI “impactfully and responsibly”.
“This collaboration underscores our commitment to deliver secure, industry-specific solutions that create tangible business value for our clients worldwide," he said.
AWS global sales vice president Greg Pearson added that the collaboration will help more enterprise organisations unlock the potential of the cloud and AI to modernise their operations and accelerate innovation.
“Through industry-aligned architecture platforms, agentic AI ecosystems, AI-driven customer experience and support in meeting evolving regulatory requirements through the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, we’re enhancing their ability to transform legacy workloads and build the next generation of digital experiences on AWS,” he stated.
