NRMA awards 1000-device deal to Melbourne MSP Mobilise IT

The NRMA has agreed to outsource the management of its roadside assistance project to mobility managed services provider Mobilise IT.

Mobilise IT will manage 1000 NRMA users and devices through its mConcierge Premium platform as part of the two-year deal.

The organisation awarded Mobilise IT the contract in June this year, with the aim of providing a standardised and secure managed device platform and support model for the NRMA's workforce and contractors.

“This Mobilise IT lead win and successful execution ahead of schedule further proves that our industry network and inhouse expertise and capacity is best practice in our industry,” Mobilise IT national sales director Michael Cefai said.

Mobilise IT will also deploy around 1000 Samsung Tab Active ruggedised tablets to NRMA users.

Combined with the devices' built-in Android OS is Mobile Iron's enterprise mobile management (EMM), all managed by Mobilise IT's mConcierge Premium platform.

"We have a good working relationship with the Samsung team," said Cefai, who was previously southern regional sales manager for Samsung Enterprise Solutons.

The initial rollout was delivered six weeks ahead of schedule, he added.
