Nokia appoints regional head

Nokia has appointed Neil Gordon (pictured) as the new vice president of sales for Southeast Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Gordon took over from Chris Carr who moved back to Australia to become the new general manager for Australia & New Zealand.

Nokia appointed Carr to the general manager role in November, as part of an executive reshuffle.

Gordon has worked across the globe for Nokia including in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. He was previously based in Finland as head of sales operations.

Colin Giles, Nokia’s senior vice president and head of global sales, said Neil had a “wealth of Nokia experience”.

“He is highly recognised for his sales and financial acumen and drive for results,” he said.

Gordan said he looked forward to returning to Asia.

"The markets within SEAP continue to offer tremendous growth potential and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with our talented and highly engaged team."
