Nic Ferraro becomes AIONIX's inaugural chief growth officer

Nic Ferraro has joined AIONIX, the developers of an enterprise AI management platform, as the company's founding chief growth officer.

AIONIX was founded earlier this year with the aim of giving organisations complete visibility, governance, and control over every AI tool, model, agent, and workflow operating across their business. Acting as an end-to-end digital AI consultant, AIONIX connects to a customer's existing AI ecosystem to help monitor spend, manage risk, improve productivity, and demonstrate ROI.

Ferraro joins from Pia, which he helped launch alongside four others in 2022 as a standalone SaaS business after its incubation within Virtual IT Group (VITG).

During his four years at the company, he held a range of roles, including founding COO, CMO, chief strategy officer and most recently chief revenue officer (CRO).

Prior to Pia, he was at VITG for close to two years, with his final role there being the organisation's first chief customer officer; before this, he served as national head of marketing strategy, SMB - customer, marketing and products at nbn Australia.

"Every MSP I talk to is asking the same AI questions. What tools should we use? Where are our adoption gaps? What's it costing us? Where's the automation upside? Behind them sits a harder one: what is actually running in our clients' environments? MSPs that can answer that serve their clients better. The ones that can't carry risk they can't see until it's too late," he said in a post on LinkedIn.

"That's the problem AIONIX is built around, and I'm excited to help MSPs turn it into an AI offering their clients value. This is the fourth scale-up I've had the amazing opportunity to be part of, and I can't wait to get stuck in."

Other members of AIONIX include founder, CEO and CTO Roee Avrahami, COO Darryl Garber - formerly CCO at ELMO Software - and Liron Deutsch, the company's chief product officer.
