CRN Fast50 2014 runner-up NGage Technology Group has launched a pay-as-you-grow flash array, FlashTAP.
Built on Pure Storage architecture, FlashTAP provides up to 300TB flash storage for running a database, VDI or virtual machine.
The pay-as-you-grow model allows customers to pay only for the data they are using in the array each month.
“Capacity on demand storage isn’t a new concept, in fact it’s been around for a long time,” said NGage co-founder Jarrod Bloomfield.
“However, we believe we are the first to market with an all-flash capacity on demand offering. It shows that we listen to our clients, this is what they’ve been asking for – an internal private cloud solution at a justifiable upfront cost whilst offering exceptional performance and simplicity. We think we’ve nailed it.”
NGage recently installed a Pure Storage array for advertising firm Sensis to run its internal VDI environment catering for up to 1800 users.
