Email archiving and content lifecycle management company KVS has appointed two new territory managers to drive channel, enterprise and government sales.
Michael Tristram has taken over channel and enterprise sales in Victoria as the new territory manager for KVS' southern region, the company said.
Tristram brings 14 years' experience in similar roles with Cisco Systems, EMC, Data General and Memorex Telex.
His main product focus will be KVS' email archiving software, Enterprise Vault.
"Emails have become the life blood of businesses, with most now dependent on them for their day-to-day operational efficiency. Life without them seems impossible to contemplate," Tristram said.
KVS has also appointed former Citrix channel sales manager Tim Blumentals as territory manager for NSW.
Blumentals, who will focus mainly on corporate and government sales for KVS, has about ten years of experience in sales roles, the company said, including six years with Citrix Systems managing channel, enterprise and public sector accounts.
Before Citrix, Blumentals was sales manager with Datapac - a company bought by Citrix in 1997 - and worked on channel accounts for MultiTech Systems and sales for Banksia Technology.
Blumentals will also mainly push the Enterprise Vault archiving system.
"The convergence of statutory requirements and good IT practice means that companies are becoming aware of the need for solid email archiving capabilities," said Blumentals.
