Netscape launches business grade channel program for ISP resellers
Netspace has introduced a new partner program for SMB ISP resellers. The program provides the ISP reseller channel with a much needed “confidence boost”, and a compelling proposition and additional edge when competing against larger telco players, said Ben Dunscombe, regulatory affairs manager, Netspace.

Dunscombe told CRN, Netscape has detected a crisis in confidence, especially among SMB ISP resellers, as a result of the flux and uncertainty being experienced in the mid-tier telecommunications sector where competitive tussle and market forces are eroding reseller confidence.

“This is why we have focused on helping resource this sector and have invested
over the last twelve months in creating a business package that ISP resellers will embrace,” he said.

The SMB ISP reseller program provides channel partners with support and resources backed by the BusinessOne product suite and full service account management, ensuring that they are equipped to deal with the competitive and uneven telecommunications playing field.

“Increasingly all levels of businesses are demanding the trio of reliability, price competitiveness and support,” said Dunscombe. “BusinessOne in conjunction with our new partner program addresses these necessities head on and allows channel partners to deliver on business expectations.”

BusinessOne, is a communications solution for SMBs that has been built around a customer focused approach with dedicated account managers and a 24 hour 7 day Australian-based technical support team.

The cornerstone products being launched as part of BusinessOne include a Hosted Exchange Solution and Ethernet over Copper (EoC).

Dunscombe told CRN, the Hosted Exchange is fully supported, tailored to the needs of SMBs and can be up and running within hours.

According to Dunscombe, EoC is a disruptive technology solution aimed to satiate the pent up business demand for affordable solutions caused by a lack of ubiquitous fibre connectivity.

“The majority of business solutions I am seeing in the market today are consumer products dressed up as business grade,” Dunscombe said.
