NetLinkz signs corporate advisor Grant Thornton as a reseller

ASX-listed network security vendor NetLinkz has signed a deal with Grant Thornton not only for its strategic advisory services, but to become a channel partner as well.

The two firms signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to appoint Grant Thornton as its strategic advisor for corporate advice, product sales and development in Australia, Asia and Europe. As part of the arrangement, Grant Thornton will also actively market and sell NetLinkz products to its customers, which includes SMEs, ASX 100 companies and government organisations.

Grant Thornton is better known as a corporate advisor and auditor, but the company has its hands in cyber security and IT consulting as well, providing advice in digital media, hardware, internet, software and technology services.

The MoU also includes advising NetLinkz on strategic acquisitions, corporate advisory services and assistance with overseas operations, namely tax and corporate structuring.

NetLinkz will also use Grant Thornton’s resources to establish an IoT lab in Sydney.

“Grant Thornton is delighted to have a strategic partnership with NetLinkz, said Grant Thornton partner and tech advisory team leader Ian Renwood.

“We have a real passion for growth and supporting our clients to reach their next milestone. From cyber security and acquisitions, to taxation and offshore expansion into China and Japan – our industry experts will be there to support NetLinkz at every stage.”

NetLinkz’ flagship product is the Virtual Invisible Network (VIN), which allows customers to create a new LAN fabric over WANs or other large networks.
