Networking vendor Netgear has slashed prices in its wireless range, offering resellers discounts on certain Gigabit PCI adapters, Gigabit switches and small business networking products such as firewalls and routers until February.
Any reseller that bought a GS105, GS108, GS116 or GS524 Gigabit switch from Netgear would be able to buy a GA311 Gigabit PCI adapter for $10, down from $28 plus GST.
The deals would run until the end of January 2005.
A Christmas special would also apply to Netgear's small business networking products.
Resellers that bought either a FR114P 4-Port Cable DSL ProSafe firewall with print server or a FWG114P wireless VPN firewall router with print server could also buy a WG511 54Mbps wireless PC card or FA511 CardBus mobile ethernet adapter for $20.
“This represents a 40 percent discount off the standard dealer price,” Netgear said.
US-based Netgear has a portfolio of some 100 products targeting users wanting to link internet access, peripherals, files, digital multimedia content and applications across a computer network.
