NetApp has expanded its Virtualisation Specialisation program to include Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-VM technology, the storage vendor announced today.
As part of the agreement, NetApp resellers are eligible for specialised training and accreditation with Hyper-V and NetApp solutions.
Julie Parrish, vice president, global partner salesm at NetApp said partners are excited about the opportunity.
"We are meeting our partners' specific request for training and expertise on Hyper-V. This program provides partners with the training and competency to bring together components from Microsoft and NetApp in a best-practice configuration," said Parrish.
Zane Adam, senior director of virtualisation at Microsoft said: "Together we're equipping partners to better deliver solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and increase business agility for customers."
NetApp resellers can participate in the NetApp program immediately. The program includes access to the customised storage calculator and NetApp lab on demand, priority enrolment for workshops and NetApp regional events.
