Microsoft partner MOQdigital has signed a contract with utilities consultancy Enzen Australia for an initial five-year, $12 million deal to design, build and operate an infrastructure platform.
Enzen Australia is part of India-headquartered Enzen Group, a multinational energy and water consulting, technology, engineering and service provider.
The contract commences immediately, with three options by Enzen to extend the five-year term by one year each. If extended to the full eight years, the value goes up to $15 million.
“We are obviously delighted to have been awarded such a significant contract, particularly as the engagement capitalises on what are core skills and services for our integration business,” MOQ chief executive Joe D’Addio said.
“Additionally, approximately 70 percent of the potential value over the contract period (inclusive of the additional extension periods) consists of recurring revenue for MOQdigital.”
D’Addio said Enzen’s offering and service set was “very complementary” to MOQdigital and would pave the potential for further joint opportunities.
“The Enzen philosophy is one of continuous, high-quality delivery and exceptional value for our customers in the energy and power sectors,” Enzen chief executive Dileep Viswanath said.
“We believe MOQdigital is a great fit for Enzen in meeting our high standards as well as delivering consistent value for our customers.”
Last year, MOQdigital surpassed 250 staff in Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, 110 of which are in Australia.
