Montech becomes MOQ Limited
MOQdigital CEO Nicki Page

The holding company of Microsoft Australian partner of the year MOQdigital has changed its name from Montech to MOQ Limited.

The change was approved by shareholders at a 16 May meeting, with the Australian Securities & Investment Commission officially recognising the new name as of today.

"The board believes the new name MOQ Limited will provide brand familiarity and recognition with the main operating business," announced the company this morning.

The Australian Securities Exchange is expected to show MOQ Limited as the new monicker tomorrow, with the ticker code remaining as MOQ.

The public company announced to the ASX that no operational changes were made, with the old web address now redirected to MOQ.com.au.

MOQdigital was formed through mergers of multiple resellers – Breeze, Technology Effect, Tetran and Skoolbag. The solutions provider last month was named Microsoft's Australian partner of the year, and is in contention for an Internet of Things award at the vendor's global conference in Canada this week.
