Mindjet appoints Sydney based Aquion as distributor

Other sectors include information technology companies.

Jon Wong VP Mindjet APAC said the partnership comes as the company expands the reach of its visual collaboration software.

"Aquion's commitment to innovative solutions, backed by a depth of technical expertise and support, will benefit our channel partners and their customers," he said.

Aquion plans to recruit channel partners specialising in Knowledge Management and Project Management.

Stephen Balicki CEO Aquion said it already uses Mindjet technology to streamline processes, decision-making and projects in its organisation.

"We see significant potential for growth in visualisation solutions like MindManager and Mindjet Connect, especially in the current economic climate, which demands co-ordinated teamwork and collaboration to affect business outcomes positively," he said.

"We want to take Mindjet from workgroups in the enterprise to wider applications, too. Because so many Australians work in knowledge-based industries, we are confident Mindjet's products will be well received."

Aquion plans to implement a Customer Round Table using Mindjet Connect to share information in a multi-user, shared workspace environment.

The company will also promote Mindjet to end users through customer councils and events, training webinars and specialist resellers.

Aquion represents software vendors in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and India.

The company provides strategic software to government, multinational corporations, banking, finance and Insurance companies, energy and utilities, and retailers.
