Melbourne reseller Myriad IT has delivered a mobile-enabled membership management system for the university group Monash Students Association.
"The insights into our membership provided by the solution enables us [to] more effectively promote events and special offers to students and will ultimately help MSA drive engagement with its members," said Sylvia Franscisca, MSA's senior finance officer.
A statement from Myriad IT said that the self-service portal was available via the web, smartphones and tablets and it allowed the MSA to "perform more effective marketing activities, enhance member engagement and improve reporting".
The solutions provider stated the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 system was implemented to handle the rigours of the enrolment and orientation peak times, and web access has helped the MSA in member retention. A payment gateway was incorporated into the system to reduce manual handling.
Myriad IT is located in the downtown Melbourne and is led by chief executive Marcus Simkin. The company says that it provides Oracle consulting, infrastructure services, in addition to Microsoft Dynamics implementations.
MSA is the student body for the Clayton campus of Monash University.
