Melbourne-based Citysoft has won a 12-month SAP contract as part of a global financial systems review by $6.9 billion-turnover explosives manufacturer Orica.
CitySoft is providing SAP ECC (R3) services to under the contract, which began in January and is being lead by CitySoft director Andrew Russo.
The Orica contract follows several wins for CitySoft in the mid-market space in 2013 with the Sage ERP X3 product, including Penrite Oil, Roland Corporation, travel group APT, Vocus Communciations, Currie Group and Longwarry Food Park.
While CitySoft has products that operate across three top tiers, managing director Anthony Russo said the company's focus is the "genuine mid-market" ERP space. "That's where our Sage ERP X3 product has given us market penetration with some major client wins in 2013," he said.
"What we’re looking to do is expand our SAP product offering also aimed at the midmarket space," Russo said.
SAP has flagged an increased focus on the channel, with a previously reported target of 40 percent of indirect sales by 2015.
CitySoft won an Australian Sage ERP X3 partner award for the highest revenue in 2013 as well as winning Sage partner awards in 2012 and 2011. This follows special recognition at the Sage ERP X3 Global Convention in Berlin, along with several other Sage partners from other countries.
