Services provider mcr computer resources has partnered US-based vendor RSA Security.
In the deal, mcr would offer RSA's user management, provisioning, access management, authentication, single sign-on, federated identity, web services and regulatory compliance portfolio, the company said.
The arrangement with 20-year-old RSA is part of Sydney-based mcr's push into the 'solutions-based' services space, it said.
Miles Liversage, chief marketing officer at mcr, said the partnership would add to its enterprise-focused best-of-breed offerings. 'We have established partnerships with leading Australian and global companies to supply our customers with comprehensive services. These partners augment our own engineering services team on major projects or with specialist skills,' Liversage said.
Chris Wood, Australia and New Zealand channel manager for RSA, said mcr would join its SecurWorld partner program as a result. 'As [an Advantage] channel partner, mcr will have a great opportunity to capitalise on the growth in demand for security solutions,' Wood said.
mcr also partners Sun Microsystems, HP, Cisco and Oracle.
RSA Security claims to have around 13,000 customers globally and some 1,000 technology partners.
