Mantel Group wins Databricks APJ emerging PotY award

Mantel Group has been named as Databricks' Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Emerging Partner of the Year for 2024 at the vendor's Data+AI Summit 2024 in San Francisco.

The award recognises Mantel Group for "its work driving exceptional customer growth, joint engagements, and its technical expertise," Databricks said.

Mantel Group said it has undertaken more than 30 Databricks Data Intelligence Platform implementations in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), which have enabled AI and machine learning use cases ranging from transport optimisation to prevention of financial crime.

“Databricks are on the cutting edge of democratising data, aiming to make every company a data and AI company,” said Emma Bromet, Mantel Group data partner.

“This award shows the trust and confidence Databricks has in Mantel Group to enable businesses, not only to implement data foundations such as data governance and data platforms, but also make their businesses more efficient through the application of AI."
