Transtasman comms and cybersecurity vendor Kordia has reached the highest level in Fortinet's Engage Partner Program, achieving Expert status.

The achievement recognises Kordia's extensive expertise in deploying Fortinet's Security Fabric products and services, with staff obtaining advanced certifications to better serve customers.

Kordia said the milestone represents significant investment in both successful customer deployments and staff development within the New Zealand technology firm.

"Obtaining expert-level partnership status highlights our expertise and commitment to delivering SD-WAN [software defined wide area networking] and security solutions that are the foundation of today's networking environment," Murray Goodman, head of product at Kordia, said.

Kordia said it has built a strong track record implementing secure SD-WAN and next-generation firewall solutions across New Zealand businesses.

"This achievement is a culmination of many successful deployments with customers, as well as the dedication and skill of our team who embraced the challenge to advance their own training to become certified Fortinet experts," Goodman said.

"Fortinet values its strong partnership with Kordia, recognising their expertise in delivering high-quality solutions built on our cutting-edge technologies," Nick Frantzen, service creation manager from Fortinet New Zealand, said.

State-owned enterprise (SOE) Kordia has more than 65 years of connectivity experience in New Zealand and employs a team of over 480 technology experts working across cloud, cybersecurity, modern workplace, media, broadcast and maritime solutions.
