Jabra goes with Ingram for call centre

Ingram Micro has inked a deal that will see it distribute Jabra’s complete range of call centre and office products in Australia.

The company has also extended its support to its partner network with a launch of the Jabra Business Tool, an iPad sales app. The app provides comprehensive and updated information on Jabra’s business solutions in a visually appealing and easy-to-use format, enabling partners to use it as a sales tool on the go.

“Our collaboration with Ingram Micro will also be beneficial in reaching a larger reseller database and in particular Cisco channels, given our existing relationship in product co-development, “ said Soren Schoennemann, managing director, Jabra ANZ, in a statement.

Jon Fox, Ingram’s enterprise business manager, also weighed in, saying, “We see it as a great opportunity to link in with our existing Cisco and Microsoft businesses as we look to enhance our offerings in the growing unified communications market.  This partnership will allow Jabra to leverage our extensive reach into the Australian reseller community, and perhaps introduce Ingram Micro to some resellers we may not have dealt with in the past.”

Ingram, which has had profitability problems in Australia due to systems problems, is slated to return to profitability this year.
