Mike Tappenden from Empired was the 1st minor prize draw. Tappenden won $2,500 and is the first person in the major prize draw to play for the $1million dollars.
Second place of $1,500 went to Steve Earl from Data3 and third place of $1,000 went to Bijal Solanki from Datacom.
The promotion, kicked-off on the 6th April to increase sales of Sun Microsystem's volume product range, which includes mid level servers, storage and software.
To enter, resellers need to buy $10,000 or more of any qualifying Sun volume products from itX and register their invoice number online befor 31st July.
"We are trying to drive volume sales and we are looking to recruit new resellers," said Paul Sadler marketing manager itX. "We want to reward existing resellers who are out there pushing the volume product on Sun gaining that market share.
The promotion ends at the end of July.
