Socomec UPS has appointed itX as its distribution partner targeting big business.
The European power supply company sold to consumers through distributor Altech.
"We have only appointed itX for the enterprise IT sector and will focus on developing our sales growth together," Socomec's James Fraser said.
Fraser told CRN that its strategy was to grow reseller numbers through distributors.
Socomec, which has offices in France and Italy, established its commercial subsidiary in Sydney last year.
"There was an obvious gap in our vendor line up and so when Socomec approached us, we were keen to explore if they would be a good fit for us and our resellers," itX general manager Greg Newham said.
