UK-based information security integrator ITC Global Security has extended its Asia-Pacific operations to Australia, opening an office in Sydney as part of its global expansion plan.
Up until now, the integrator and provider of managed services had two offices outside of the UK, one in Malaysia and another in Canada.
The Australian office will facilitate delivery of networking and IT security support services in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Customers will benefit from the experience and support provided by the local team, the company said in a statement.
The office will be headed by Rafael Valetov, head of optimisation services. Valetov joined ITC last year and has specialist experience in enterprise network infrastructure, WAN optimisation, application acceleration and management.
Day to day operations will be supported by Nick Kirby, Asia Pacific sales manager, who joins ITC with information and communications sales experience gained from companies including Uecomm, Commander Communications and Cable & Wireless.
Tom Millar, ITC's managing director and co-founder, said the company achieved record growth of 55 percent in revenue last year, much of which can be accredited to the growth in global programmes.

ITC has service offerings in partnership with ArcSight Security Incident & Event Monitoring (SIEM), Verdasys DLP and Palo Alto Networks Web Application Threat Monitoring.
