IT training provider DDLS adds Veeam courses

Corporate IT training provider DDLS has added two new Veeam courses to its offerings after renewing its partnership with the data protection vendor.

Now officially a Veeam Authorised Education Centre, DDLS will offer Veeam Certified Engineer and Veeam Certified Engineer - Advanced Design Optimisation courses. The company also offers the Veeam Certified Architect course.

“Veeam’s focus on industry-leading innovative technology makes it the perfect complement to the DDLS cloud product stack,” DDLS chief executive Jon Lang said.

“We know that Australian businesses’ transition to a multi-cloud strategy is outpacing our global peers, so to be able to play a bigger role in that narrative alongside our partners who are leaders in their field, is an exciting prospect for DDLS.”

DDLS said partnering with Veeam was a “natural first choice” due to its ability to operate synergistically with Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, adding to its own existing partnerships with the cloud providers.

The growing popularity of cloud-based infrastructure has also increased the requirement for enterprise organisations to evolve their capabilities in data intelligence, which is what the partnership aims to achieve.

“Our commitment to Veeam partners is paramount in our mutual and continued achievements,” Veeam vice president for APJ sales and field operations Shiva Pillay said.

“As businesses of all sizes are rapidly evolving and adapting to the demands of digital transformation and a cloud era, Veeam is ensuring partners have the most innovative product offerings, latest tools, first-class support and the most valuable training and education services for profitability and success.

“We are excited to be working with DDLS.”

Earlier this month, DDLS started offering TAFE-style nationally accredited IT courses through the relaunch of The Australian Institute of ICT, which the company acquired in 2018.
