Iron Mountain launches AI-powered InSight Digital Experience Platform

Information management company Iron Mountain, has released its new InSight Digital Experience Platform (DXP), a secure software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution designed to help organisations handle their physical and digital information.

The platform leverages AI-powered tools to automate workflows, ensure compliance, and transform unstructured data into actionable insights.

InSight DXP's intelligent document processing capabilities allow users to extract, classify, and enrich information rapidly and accurately, making it readily available for use in integrated business applications and AI initiatives.

Recent research by Iron Mountain spanning six countries and involving 700 IT and data decision-makers, showed that 93 per cent of organisations already utilise generative AI in some capacity.

Notably, 96 per cent of respondents agreed that a unified asset strategy for managing both digital and physical assets is crucial for the success of generative AI initiatives.

InSight DXP includes a secure, generative AI-powered chat feature, enabling quick access to data within documents in an isolated environment.

Its low-code solution designer allows users to process and unlock intelligence from content using intuitive drag-and-drop features.

The platform aims to improve the business-to-employee (B2E) experience, enhancing productivity and creating meaningful experiences for Iron Mountain customers' employees.

"Iron Mountain's ability to help its customers build models and secure data within Large Language Models (LLMs) with low-code tools can change the way organizations access and monetize documents, both digital and physical," Amy Machado, senior research manager at analyst firm IDC said.

The DXP flexible platform is designed to quickly develop and deploy solutions across various industries, including banking, healthcare, and cross-industry applications like digital human resources and invoice processing.

Iron Mountain bought Australia's ASX-listed Recall Holdings in 2016, for $3.4 billion.
