Acer has unveiled five products as part of its Aspire Timeline series which will be available through the channel this month.

McLean said the study by Galaxy, was conducted online among members of a permission based panel. Respondents were laptop owners aged 18-64 years.

It found that out of all the features customers look for in a computer, the top five things were;

Amongst those who use wireless, 96 percent claim it is important that a laptop is wireless enabled.

The data was weighted by age, gender and region to reflect the latest ABS population estimates.

"In terms of the overall market, Acer have made some huge gains and products like this will strengthen their offerings. We are really excited about the opportunities they are bringing to market," he added.
