Intel Security is on the hunt for a new boss after managing director Keith Buckley left the company on 15 January.

Reporting to the Asia Pacific president, the new recruit will play a key role in the overall strategy and sales growth of the brand across the Australian and New Zealand region.

“Intel Security will look for this individual to build and develop strong channel partner and client relationships across the region,” according to the job advertisement on LinkedIn.

The new MD will need to be able to "identify and build relationships with channel partners to ensure that Intel Security capitalises quickly on business that is best developed with others. The person will need to take ultimate responsibility for client and partner satisfaction at all points during and after client engagements and contribute to the overall management of Intel Security in ANZ.

The new hire is also expected to undergo an intense security check.

An Intel spokesperson confirmed to CRN that the position is still vacant and interested applicants are encouraged to apply online.

Buckley, who has been Intel Security’s managing director since May 2013, is moving on to another role within the IT industry, said the Intel spokesperson.

Buckley did not respond to CRN's enquiries by the time of publication.

Intel Security,previously known as McAfee Inc,is an American global computer security software company headquartered in Santa Clara, California and is the world's largest dedicated security technology company.

The company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel since February 2011 and now forms part of Intel Security division.
