Intel has named Glen Boatwright as country manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
He transitions into this role from his previous position as regional sales manager, where he oversaw HPI and HPE relationships.
Glen brings more than 22 years of experience at Intel, having held senior leadership positions spanning field sales engineering, OEM and channel account management, retail marketing, and regional sales.
He will now lead Intel’s overall strategy and drive growth initiatives to deepen Intel’s relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
“Having worked across multiple sectors and roles throughout my 22 years with Intel, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how technology can transform industries and empower people,” said Boatwright.
“As we enter a new era defined by AI and accelerated computing, my focus is on strengthening Intel’s leadership in the market through our products and partnerships and continuing to unlock the full potential of technology for our customers and communities.”
“After an extensive search process, with Glen we have the right leader to take Intel’s business to even greater heights in this critical market,” said George Chacko, GM of Southeast Asia and ANZ, sales and marketing group at Intel Corporation.
“His long-standing experience and leadership within Intel make him ideally placed to guide our next chapter of growth across Australia and New Zealand.”
