Data#3 chose to donate money raised at their recent NSW Charity Golf Day to Autism Spectrum Australia (ASA). Established in 1966, ASA provides specialist early intervention services for young children with autism and their families.
About 120 budding golfers, made up of Data#3 customers, vendor partners and company staff gathered at Roseville Golf Club to play a friendly game over 18 holes. Among the players were representatives from Acronis, Sanity, Deloitte Services, Microsoft and the Commonwealth Bank Australia.
The Charity Golf Day is one of numerous fundraising and volunteer programs run by Data#3 throughout the year as part of its social responsibility program. The program lets the company help the community, raise awareness of environmental issues and focus on helping businesses develop ethical solutions to meet corporate social responsibility goals.
Data#3’s next charity golf event will be held in Brisbane in May. This event will raise funds for Queensland’s Olympians as they head to China.
